For the submission of planning applications

The Planning and Sustainable Development service provides an optional validation checking service subject to a fee (see guidance note below for charges). We currently receive a high volume of planning applications that do not meet the local and national validation requirements and our intention is to reduce this amount and help speed up the process for our customers.

The service is available by appointment only, at our main offices in Bodmin, Camborne and Truro. Appointments can be arranged by completing the validation checking service form and emailing it to planning@cornwall.gov.uk stating which office you wish to attend.

If you are a planning agent, an accredited agents scheme is available for householder development applications.
