Free Electric Blanket Testing and Winter Safety Advice - St Ives

10 October - 9am - 12pm

Do you or one of your family use an electric blanket? Come along to the event in St. Ives Community Fire Station and have it checked for FREE.

Cornwall Fire, Rescue and Community Safety Service will be on hand to offer advice on fire safety around your home, along with Devon and Cornwall Police and Community Energy Plus.

There's no need to book, just turn up at the event and we'll have it checked while you wait. If you have 5 or more blankets to check we can collect and return these for you the same day if you are unable to get to the event. Please contact 01208 893133 to arrange this.

Car Wash at Hayle Emergency Services Community Station

15 October - 10am-2pm

Firefighters from Hayle Emergency Service Community Station are holding a car wash event on Sunday 15 October 2017, starting at 10am in the Asda car park in Hayle. Come and meet your local firefighters, and of course your chance to get your car gleaming all whilst raising money for ASDA’s breast cancer awareness charity.

Halloween Open Day at Truro Emergency Services Station

28 October 10am-2pm

Truro Emergency Services Community Station are having a Halloween themed Open Day on Friday 28 October 10am-2pm.

Spooky fun for all of the family with lots of activities including:

  • Haunted house
  • Bouncy Castle
  • Face Painting
  • Fire and rescue demonstrations
  • Cake stall
  • Barbecue

Prize for the best fancy dress costume!

 Charity Halloween Party at Falmouth Communtiy Fire Station

28 October at 7.30pm –11.30pm

Falmouth Community Fire Station are holding a charity Halloween Party in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity on 28th October from 7:30pm onwards. 

There is a £5 admission fee which includes: a pasty, disco and licenced bar (for those 18+). Fancy dress optional.
